第8回フィールドスケッチ会

日曜日、フィールドスケッチ会を真鶴半島で行った。辺鄙な場所での開催だったけれど、参加者も１名、来てくださった。公式ブログの報告はこちら。
Sunday was another field sketching day at Manazuru peninsula.



We were hoping to see and sketch brown-eared bulbuls taking off to migrate from the peninsula.  There were some flocks circling around the area although they didn't actually take off that morning.  Three peregrines appeared at once so they must have frightened the bulbuls.  



朝のうちはヒヨドリの群れもにぎやかで、トビにミサゴ、ハヤブサと空を飛ぶものがたくさん。



11時くらいになると、岬の先端での動きが少なくなってきたので、森の中の水場へと移動した。久しぶりにヤブサメを見た。一瞬ではあったけれど、見た記念に覚え書き。ヒヨ吉氏にくちばしが短いと指摘されてしまった。確かに！



There was a little stream in the forest and lots of white-eyes and varied tits came to bathe.  Watching them from a simple hide, I got bitten by mosquitos. I realised why there are less hides in Japan.  They love shady area with no wind.  I don't fancy bird watching sharing the same hide with lots of mosquitos!



真鶴の三ツ石。
I spent the sunny afternoon painting the famous Mitsuishi rock.  I somehow had only a few pastels, three blues, three greens, two browns and one grey with me but managed to come up with this.  



これは同じ真鶴で一週間前に見られたサメビタキ。クロツグミやキビタキもいて、渡りの通過地点なのだなと実感した。

週末は「おおいそ文化祭」もあり、こまたんブースの「絵で楽しむアオバト」コーナーに３名のアーティストの一人として版画を展示させていただいた。日本画を描かれている金井萌英さんにもお会いできた。アオバトの輪が広がる。
