祖母の家、わたしのおもちゃ

大晦日の夕方に夫に祖母宅まで送ってもらい、お正月は祖母と合流してきた母、わたしとチビの４人でひたすらのんびり過ごした。

We did nothing but sit around on the New Year's day and the next day.  Because little one wanted to play with my old doll house, which my mum made, at my grandma's place.  She brought her seven little dolls with her to let them stay in this house.   

人形の家にかかっている絵は、すべてわたしが小さい頃に作ったものだが、この左の絵は銚子の日の出だ。幼稚園から小学生にかけて、一時期毎年のように銚子に日の出を見に行っていた。それも初日の出は混むからと、なぜか大晦日の日の出を見に！

There was my little weaving toy, too. She needed her great-gran to sit with her and tell what to do next otherwise she often forgot to rotate the heddle.

4歳児にはちょっとまだ難しい。気に入って持って帰ってきて家でも作りたがったものの、隣でひーばーが見ていてくれないので失敗続き。結局わたしが作る羽目になっている気がする。
