お留守番

　I joined the research of Yakushima Macaque at Yakushima island just like last year. The Yakushima Macaque is one of the subspieces of Japanese Macaque and its habitat there is considered to be the southernmost of Japan.



旅行村
後期調査の集合日前に入島したので、前期のメンバーを見送り、後期のメンバーを迎える日、わたしの初仕事はお留守番だった。誰もいない旅行村。だんだんと日陰が少なくなってゆく。



旅行村からの口永良部島
I was taking a rest at a bower, looking at this Kuchinoerabu island. This island is about 12 km far from Yakushima and it takes less than 2 hours by ferry. Someday, I want to go there, too.
