I had a few days waiting for my editor's feedback on my rough for the cover illustration of my next book. So I decided to make this album. It was something I really wanted to do before I forget everything.
去年の9月はけっこう暇だったので、エコー画像と最初のひと月の写真やスケッチをまとめて「誕生アルバム」を作った。その後の写真を「０歳アルバム」としてまとめるならこの夏しかないと、先日思い切って作成した。
写真を入稿すれば一冊から印刷してくれるフォトブックを使っているのだが、わたしはこういう風に作りたいというこだわりが強すぎるので、どの会社のものも既存のテンプレートではやりたいことができない。だからInDesignで編集してページごとに一枚の画像にして入稿することにしている。そうすれば文字もスケッチも写真も好きなようにいれられるし、写真の一部を切り取ったものを配置することだってできて楽しい。
When I was little, my mum made a special album of me. It has a photo of me and a teddy bear every fifty days and she wrote several lines about me at that time. As my little one grows, I often look back that album to see how the girl will be at the next stage. So I wanted to make something similar to record her.
