Merry Christmas!

毎年、海外に出すクリスマスカードと年賀状を同じデザインで併用している。しかも、母や祖母のもわたしが作っている。
今年は義父が亡くなりうちは喪中なのだが、コロナで海外と行き来ができないだけにクリスマスカードはいつも通り出したいし、母と祖母の分は年賀状も必要なので、いろいろ考えて結局はいつも通りに干支柄のクリスマスカードにした。
『はりねずみともぐらのふうせんりょこう』の動物たちが歩いているキンポウゲの野原だ。

まちこっくりのくーしゅーしゅみ！(訳:松ぼっくりのクリスマスツリー） 

From the day I picked up these huge pinecones back in August, I was thinking of decorating it as Christmas trees with berries. So here they are! 

松ぼっくりはダイオウマツと思われる。ヘクソカズラとナンテンで飾ってみた。差し込んだだけでボンドも使っていないので、終わったら外して、またなんか別の飾りを付けられるかもしれない。

We had been very lucky with sunny evenings to watch the Jupiter and Saturn alignment.  Looking west with naked eye, we have the silhouette Mt. Fuji, the two planets toward south-west and the moon in south.  Through the field scope, four moons of Jupiter and Saturn's ring are all visible in one sight.
