欠航

　Around this time of year we have so called Golden week holidays in Japan. I went to Tobishima, a small island in the Sea of Japan to watch migrating birds stop by there.
　On the first day, when I arrived at the port it was so windy and the waves so high that the ferry couldn't run. So we went to Takadate mountain instead, which is also a famous place to watch birds.

金曜日だったせいか、静かで良いところだった。

はじめから飛島に渡る船が欠航になってしまった。旅はハプニングがつきものだ。でも、ハプニングがあるからこそ旅であって、そのおかげで思わぬ良いことが降ってくることも多い。
