カモメと夕焼け

球磨川河口の夕焼け
We stopped by at the estuary of the Kumagawa river to look for Pallas's Gull, a very rare bird, which comes to the estuary every winter. There were lots of Herring Gulls, some Saunder's Gulls, a few Black-headed Gulls but no Palas's Gull. It was getting dark so I gave up trying to identify gulls and instead, I just watched the beautiful sunset...much more fun.

足がピンクのセグロカモメ、足が黄色はホイグリンカモメ?
